Is my friend lying to me? Am I analyzing this right?

Question:

So my friend was visiting London, and she told me she was mugged at gunpoint. She went on FB, and instant message me that she needed me to wire her some money so she can go home. Okay, who has time to go on FB when you just got mugged (Strike 1). She's underage by the way and traveled by herself. So I asked her, "Did they take your passport", she replied with "No". Which I thought was insanely fishy because if you're going to mug someone, might as well take their passport so 1. They can't go home and 2. Use it for Identity Theft, (Strike 2). I asked her if she told her parents/relatives about the situation and she told me that her parents were on vacation and her relatives already wired her $300. She even told me that she doesn't remember her parent's numbers by heart. I consider that a strike 3 because HONESTLY, do YOU remember your parent's number by heart?? I told her that it was about enough for a plane ticket home and she told me she needed more to pay off the hotel and taxi. I also asked her if she reported this to the local police station and she told me that she did and they're trying to find the suspects. So did I analyze this whole thing correctly?

Answers:
