A question concerning Fil-Am in the US...?

Question:

Is it the fault of the parents that we have Pinoys speaking in English and couldn't speak in Tagalog? Some even asked here how to convert the English words to Tagalog so that he or she could understood it or Tagalog to English or we have children that once they reach the land of opportunity or the land of milk and honey they forgot they are Filipinos. And the only time they remember they are Pinoys or Filipinos is when they are on vacation in the Philippines, somewhere in Boracay or Palawan.

Answers:

and i just want to add, to those parents who are not teaching your kids our native language, Shame on you! your kids will never learn how to love their own language. they think that simply looking like a filipino makes them filipinos, too. absolutely wrong - you need to speak like a filipino, act like a filipino, and love the philippines with all your heart in order to be a filipino. it is a privilege, not a hand-me-down.

No I am not a genius, but not stupid, lets say I am somebody in between, a person who can comprehend. You got issues Parekoy! Cool ka lang.

We are not being paid here buddy! so don't get too personal. I respect everybody in YAP. But, I could not give my respect to you, you got to earn it. What I don't like from you is you asked a Question, and insult answers afterwards, why is that? Told you before, there are two button to hit TU and TD

Block me if you want.. the hell I care.

This is YAP buddy.. a community within a community.. You can earn friends.. but you can also gain too may enemies.. Opps! one more thing.. my avatar.. hmmm... don't be jealous if he is better looking than you? jejeje Joke lang.. English is universal. Get with it.It's not your place to tell parents what language they should teach their children, be it Mandarin or Swahili. Those are their children, not yours. If you are not in The Philippines Tagalog is just not useful language.
